In Pakistan, after the establishment of the Competition Commission of Pakistan, competition law being recognized by various industry sectors including banks, financial institutions, telecommunication providers, stock-brokers, local & international businesses, private undertakings and individuals. CCP has promulgated many orders affecting variety of businesses and industry sectors. These orders have not only interpreted the provisions of the Competition Act 2010 in line with international jurisprudence in competition law but also imported into national competition law many important legal concepts that are developed at highest international judicial forums such as the European Court of Justice.
